Lab Orders>New/Awaiting Results/Voided /Closed

 

In the Lab Orders screen you can identify Lab Orders that are New, Awaiting Results, Voided, or Closed

 

1.     You can click the ‘New’ link on the left navigation bar. A table with New Lab Orders will be displayed.

a.     The Table will show Workflow ID, Patient Name, Site #, Facility, Status, Specimen Type columns.

b.     You can filter the table by entering the last name of the patient in the Filter by Last Name field and clicking the Go button.

c.     You can remove the filter entry by clicking the Clear button.

d.     You can sort the new Lab Orders by clicking the columns headings to change the order in which the New Lab Orders are displayed.

e.     You can click the Select button to go to the Workflow ID screen to Complete or Void New Lab Order information.

f.      You can click the numbers links at the bottom of the table to navigate through the available pages that contain New Lab Orders.

 

2.     You can click the ‘Awaiting Results’ link on the left navigation bar. A table with the Lab Orders awaiting results will be displayed.

a.     The Table will show Workflow ID, Lab Request #, Patient Name, Facility, Lab Request Date, Date Received by Metals Lab, Status, Specimen Type, BSO Number columns.

b.     You can filter the table by selecting a Filter type (choose one from the dropdown box) and clicking the Go button.

c.     You can remove the filter entry by clicking the Clear button.

d.     You can sort the Lab Orders awaiting results by clicking the columns headings to change the order in which the Lab Orders awaiting results are displayed.

e.     You can click the Select button to go to the Workflow ID screen to Update, Edit, Print, and Save Lab Orders awaiting results information.

f.      You can click the numbers links at the bottom of the table to navigate through the available pages that contain Lab Orders awaiting results.

 

3.     You can click the ‘Voided’ link on the left navigation bar. A table with Voided Lab Orders will be displayed.

a.     The Table will show Workflow ID, Lab Request #, Patient Name, Site #, Facility, Lab Request Date, Status, Specimen Type, BSO Number columns.

b.     You can filter the table by entering the last name of the patient in the Filter by Last Name field and clicking the Go button.

c.     You can remove the filter entry by clicking the Clear button.

d.     You can sort the Voided Lab Orders by clicking the columns headings to change the order in which the Voided Lab Orders are displayed.

e.     You can click the Select button to go to the Workflow ID screen to Update, Edit, Un-Void, and Save Voided Lab Orders information.

f.      You can click the numbers links at the bottom of the table to navigate through the available pages that contain Voided Lab Orders.

 

4.     You can click the ‘Closed’ link on the left navigation bar. A table with Closed Lab Orders will be displayed.

a.     The Table will show Workflow ID, Lab Request #, Patient Name, Site #, Facility, Lab Request Date, Lab Report Date, Status, Specimen Type, BSO Number columns.

b.     You can filter the table by selecting a Filter type (Last Name or BSO Number) and clicking the Go button.

c.     You can remove the filter entry by clicking the Clear button.

d.     You can sort the Closed Lab Orders by clicking the columns headings to change the order in which the Closed Lab Orders are displayed.

e.     You can click the Select button to go to the Workflow ID screen to Update and Print Closed Lab Orders information.

f.      You can click the numbers links at the bottom of the table to navigate through the available pages that contain Closed Lab Orders.
